The Children Act (2004) requires all Local Authorities to implement a Children’s Trust to ensure full coordination of effort at all levels to improve outcomes for all children and young people aged 0-19 years. Our Children and Young People’s Plan (2009 – 2012) sets out our strategy for meeting the needs of children and young people in County Durham.
