Integrated Working

Integrated working focuses on enabling and encouraging professionals to work together effectively to deliver frontline services.

Improving outcomes for children and young people involves changes to culture and practice across the children's workforce. The Every Child Matters: Change for Children programme sets out a model for change with integration at every level. It also sets out how services for children and young people need to be coordinated and built around their needs.

The One Point Service 0-19 Integrated Children's Services Pathway

The Children’s Trust is committed to achieving clear and seamless integrated services that will respond effectively to the needs of children, young people and families. The Pathway describes how services will be provided to children and young people at universal, targeted and specialist levels, with a clear focus on early intervention and prevention to improve outcomes.

The Joint Protocol for Homeless 16-17 Year Olds in County Durham

This joint protocol is an agreement that establishes the roles and responsibilities of different agencies towards homeless 16 and 17 year olds. It outlines the respective statutory responsibilities of the Durham County Council Children and Young People’s Services and Housing Solutions (the Housing Authority).
