County Durham Partnership Board
The board's members meet on a monthly basis to drive a common purpose and ambition for the county, influence the use of all partners' resources and ensure a strong focus on the achievement of the county's priorities in the Sustainable Community Strategy (SCS).
County Durham Partnership Forum
To ensure local communities and local councils' views are listened to, the forum meets three times a year and brings together the partnership board with AAPs and a representative from County Durham Association of Local Councils (CDALC).
The partnership framework has five lead thematic partnerships which each concentrate on specific areas of work. Each of these thematic partnerships has further partnerships and groups that feed into them.
The five lead thematic partnerships in County Durham are:
- Children and Families Partnership
- County Durham Economic Partnership
- County Durham Environment Partnership
- Health and Wellbeing Board
- Safe Durham Partnership
Area Action Partnerships (AAPs)
Each of the 14 AAPs is made up of an area forum, which members of the public can attend and an area board of elected members, members of the public and key organisations within the area.
