Structure

The Children and Families Partnership works to ensure effective services are delivered in the most efficient way to improve the lives of children, young people and families in County Durham which includes targeting resources at those that are most in need. The Partnership produces the Children, Young People and Families Plan (CYPFP), which is the single overarching, multi-agency plan for the delivery of priorities for children, young people and families in County Durham.

The Children and Families Partnership governance structure represents the work taking place in relation to the following: 

  • Early Years Partnership
  • Improving Progression Partnership
  • Looked After Children Strategic Partnership
  • Special Educational Needs and/or Disability Strategy and Accountability Group
  • Teenage Pregnancy and Sexual Health Steering Group
  • Think Family Partnership
  • Children and Young People's Mental Health, Emotional Wellbeing & Resilience Group
  • Durham Association of Primary Schools (DAPH)
  • Durham Association of Secondary Heads (DASH)      
  • Durham Special School Headteachers Association (DSSHA)
