Durham Organic Gardeners' Association Potato Day Event. There will be a great selection of organic and no-organic varieties of seed potatoes for sale. There will also be homemade cakes, tea, coffee and light refreshments to purchase.

Guide in the Hide

Drop into the bird hide where Hide Guides will be happy to point out the different species on the pond. Keep an eye out for some curlew, snipe, golden plover, black tailed godwits and various wintering wildfowl such as wigeon, shovelers and teal. Free entry.

Snowdrop Walk

Meet at Easington Colliery Coastal car park, bottom of Seaside Lane, Easington Colliery, SR8 3RU.

Join our Heritage Coast Officer for a gentle circular walk along the coast to Hawthorn Dene and enjoy the snowdrops. The walk is 4 miles and free of charge.
