The Safe Durham Partnership is the local Community Safety Partnership (CSP) for County Durham. We oversee the strategic delivery of the 'safe' theme as part of the County Durham Partnership.
The Crime and Disorder Act 1998 placed a statutory duty on local authorities to create Partnerships to tackle crime, disorder, anti-social behaviour, substance misuse, other behaviour adversely affecting the local environment and to reduce re-offending.
We have developed a Safe Durham Partnership Plan 2021 to 2025 (PDF, 504kb) that sets out how we will tackle Strategic objectives identified from the strategic assessment and public consultation.
