The framework consists of a Strategic Safe Durham Partnership Board who report in to County Durham Partnership.
Under the Board sits the Thematic Groups who deliver on the identified partnership Priority objectives.
The role of the Safe Durham Partnership Board
The Safe Durham Partnership Board leads the thematic work on Community Safety on behalf of the County Durham Partnership, providing strategic level leadership and coordination of the Community Safety agenda across County Durham.
The Board will review partnership performance, manage and monitor financial resources, hold thematic groups to account and develop strategies for emerging priorities. The Board will also co-ordinate and oversee the development and delivery of the Partnership Plan (you can download this on our What We Do page).
The role the Thematic Groups
The purpose of each Thematic Group is to develop and implement an agreed strategic response, to the relevant priority objective, on behalf of the Safe Durham Partnership. They will deliver what is required to meet the objectives set out in the Partnership Plan and ensure a strategic level co-ordination of the priority across partner organisations.
