Established in 1994, the County Durham Economic Partnership (CDEP) comprises over 50 public, private and voluntary sector organisations involved in the economic development and economic regeneration of the County.
The Partnership has recently published it's
County Durham Economic Strategy 2008-2013 (64 pages, 1383
kb). An Action Plan for the CDES is currently being prepared to map out the timetable for practically achieving the strategy's aims. The Economic Strategy seeks to achieve the long term goals of the County Durham Strategic Partnership as set out in the County Durham Strategic Vision.
