Safe Durham Partnership

The Safe Durham Partnership is the local Community Safety Partnership (CSP) for County Durham.

The Safe Durham Partnership oversees the strategic delivery of the “safe” theme as part of the County Durham Partnership

The Crime and Disorder Act 1998 placed a statutory duty on local authorities to create Partnerships to tackle crime, disorder, anti-social behaviour, substance misuse, other behaviour adversely affecting the local environment and to reduce re-offending.

The Safe Durham Partnership has developed a Partnership Plan as part of its statutory responsibility to develop a three year plan to tackle priorities identified from the strategic assessment and public consultation.

Our vision is that every adult, child and place in County Durham will be, and will feel, safe. You can view our full vision and pledge.
